Meet yourself in paradise…

It is time to meet yourself in paradise and realise the wonderland that exists within you.

This year, we are offering you the time and the special, sacred space of Bali and our care, to meet your beautiful natural self with the love that you know you deserve.

Being there for others is a wonderful, compassionate part of the human experience. But what about you? When is the last time you enjoyed a deep uninterrupted rest, genuine warmth and consistent support?

Join us to soak and absorb, replenish and refresh your love for yourself and this breathtaking experience called life.

Be held in the palms of Balinese hospitality and the experienced and loving team from Core Yoga West End and Neighbourhood Yoga.

Gift yourself a week that will cultivate sustainable practise that keeps on giving as your year unfolds.

Come together…

Following the success of our first collaboration in 2018, Neighbourhood Yoga is thrilled to be partnering with Nathan and Chanthalah from Core Yoga West End in Brisbane for this wonderful retreat together. Together, we will enjoy lots of nourishing yoga but we also make time for morning sunrise meditation, walks in nature, learning about the body and mind, eating amazing food, yoga nidra (conscious sleep), swimming, drinking coconuts, receiving massages and just generally having some time to relax! You will enjoy all of this alongside a group of lovely folks just like yourself. New friends that will walk beside you, on their own path, but at the ready should you stumble into a rice field. The camaraderie is authentic, effortless and will restore your faith in humanity.

Sustainable yoga every day

The most common question we hear from participants is “Is this like yoga boot camp?” Absolutely not. At Core and Neighbourhood, our yoga is accessible and sustainable. You don't have to be an advanced yogi to attend any of our offerings. We welcome and accomodate all levels of experience and physical expression.

Your hosts

Based in the heart of West End, Brisbane, Core Yoga is owned and operated by Chanthalah and Nathan, both Yoga Australia Senior Teachers with over 15 years teaching experience each.  They communicate a very thoughtful and clear expression of yoga to their students and teacher trainees based on a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, physiotherapy, yoga therapy, movement, traditional philosophy and modern research. They have been running a retreat in Bali for the last eight years so they have local knowledge and experience to tailor a quality experience for all guests.

Julieanne is the owner and principal teacher at Neighbourhood Yoga in Mackay, an intimate studio that attracts many glorious students who are walking their way home to themselves. Like Nathan and Chanthalah, she is passionate about meaningful and sustainable practise, continuing study intensives with high integrity teachers throughout Australia and India. Julieanne has been grateful to assist Core Yoga on their annual delivery of yoga at Woodford Folk Festival since 2014 and has hosted Nathan and Chanthalah at educational workshops for Mackay yoga students since 2016.

Fun Fact
The team all share an artistic background, meeting at dance college many moons ago. This brings great depth, creativity and frequently humour to all that they do together. We love hanging out together and think you will enjoy our gang too.
