Winter Sadhana with Dan Alder - Consistent Practice

While Julieanne is away immersed in the Himalayas of northern India, she has set up a rare and exciting opportunity for you to increase and focus your yoga practice.

Join Senior Yoga Teacher, teacher-trainer, philosophy lecturer, musician and all round top bloke, Dan Alder for a yoga retreat experience at home. For the last two weeks of July, you have the opportunity to commit to consistent morning or evening practice with Dan at Neighbourhood Yoga.

Suitable for ALL levels of physical expression, Dan will lead a two week Practice Intensive that accumulates for those participating in the entire program. In yoga, we call consistent practice, Sadhana. Something very special happens when you practise consistently. And here you have the opportunity to immerse under the guidance of a very sincere and experienced teacher. Be guided through practice to ask the big questions about WHY you practise and as such, uncover the hidden gems of your practice in daily life.

Morning sessions will be vigorous yet accessible. Evening sessions will be lighter followed by focused instruction on Meditation, Dan’s passion. I encourage you to take up the whole course of study, mornings or evenings or both! If you have wanted to come away on retreat with Neighbourhood Yoga but can’t find the right time etc, this is a perfect at-home variation for a meaningful yoga experience. Plus, Dan plays guitar in Savasana. Need I say more? 

Sadhana Subscription

Bookings are open now for students wishing to enrol in either Week One, Week Two or Both Weeks of either Morning, Evening or All sessions.

The Sadhana Subscription booking period must close on 30 June. Any available spots will be open for Casual Drop In bookings from 1 July.

Morning Intensive – 5 classes per week*
Week 1 or Week 2 - $85 (please check yourself into morning sessions in a single week not across both)
Two Weeks - $160

Evenings with Meditation Course – 4 classes per week
Week 1 or Week 2 - $68 (please check yourself into evening sessions in a single week not across both)
Two Weeks - $128

Dan Mega Pass – Unlimited Morning and Evening
Two Weeks $250 (please check yourself into all sessions upon booking)

4 Class Pass $75

*If you need assistance to book in your sessions, please email me your preferred sessions BEFORE 1 JULY and I will add you to the classes on a first in, first served basis. I will not be responding to emails after 2 July. After 2 July, you will need to complete your own enrolment on Mindbody.

No cancellations. There are no refunds or exchanges on bookings for Dan’s classes. It is not possible to manage the capacity remotely while I am in India. If you book and pay for a spot and don’t attend, there is no refund or exchange.

Monthly Pass holders. If your pass renewed after 4 June, your pass and payment schedule has been adjusted and any suspended time will be available in August. Dan’s classes are not included on monthly passes.

Ten Class Pass holders. Similar to a workshop, Dan’s classes are not included on Ten Class Passes. Regular studio pricing and schedule will resume on Monday 5 August.

*Remember to book yourself in to your sessions on Mindbody after you purchase the appropriate pass.
